A Superhydrophobic Alkali Activated Materials Coating by Facile Preparation

Alkali activated materials (AAMs) were considered as economical and environmentally friendly that have attracted incrementally attention green coating materials. However, alkali inclined to be infiltrated ruined by harmful ions in water due their hydrophilicity. And the ordinary ways of construct superhydrophobic coatings costly, complex need fluorine material. The surfaces fragile owing super-hydrophobicity controlled surface merely. In this work, a facile, convenient strategy synthesize slag (AAS) with excellent repellence was developed. Herein, hydrolysis polymerization triethoxy (octyl)silane (TTOS) applied for generating micro/nanostructures three-dimensional overall coating. contact angle (CA) about bottoms 150.2°, 152° rolling (SA) 5°, 4° respectively. Besides, demonstrated mechanical abrasion effect still maintain after sandpaper stand. Super-hydrophobicity could regenerated simple rubbing when they attacked chemically. Concisely, show benefit affordable feasibility so potential expandable industrial promotion.
